Good news! We provide you with an exclusive access to test Wozaik. You can now try the service following this link, and click on the “Try now” button on the homepage:
http://www.wozaik.com/invite/wozaikblog
We are still in alpha and you will certainly find out bugs or stuff that not works out as you would like to. Please let us know. We need your feedback and we really count on you to improve Wozaik.

Then what is Wozaik all about? Our goal is to provide you with the quickest access to your favorite web contents. We think that it is time to offer a new generation of bookmarks. Why? Because bookmarks are not giving us an immediate access to what we like on the web. Let me explain. With bookmarks we are storing links to the webpages we want to further access. But it is hard to remember what information is hidden behind a link. Moreover it is sort of boring to have to click on this link and load the whole webpage just to look at the piece of information we are looking for. Our idea is to give you the possibility to take the information itself instead of links.

That is the theory. And what is it like in practice?

First you just have to drag and drop a bookmarklet (or a small button) in your browser toolbar. When you find something you like on the web just click on this button: it will let you cut the portion of the page you like as you would cut a piece of paper.

Example: You want to bookmark Dailymotion’s top funny videos. 1: Click on your Wozaik button – 2: A layer covers your screen and lets you select the area you would like to cut – 3: Confirm. Your Dynamic Bookmark is created.

The portion is sent to your personal space where all your Dynamic Bookmarks are aggregated. Your Dynamic Bookmarks are not screen-shots. They are interactive and automatically updated when the original website is modified.

How is your space created ? More than easy : it’s automatically created when you’ve cut your first bookmark. You can then register to save your account and retrieve it from any computer.

With the example above, your Dailymotion Dynamic Bookmark will always show you the top funny videos of Dailymotion website on your personal space. And you can directly click on the links from your personal space to look at them. Isn’t is much better than a simple bookmark ? And what about also adding new videos of the Late Show website next to the DailyMotions ones ? Or the top ones you found out on the web ?

Got it? With Wozaik you can get a mosaic view of what matters the most for you on the web.

Go have a try here and let us now what you think: http://www.wozaik.com/invite/wozaikblog
