I will take two week of vacation at the end of August and wanted to share with you how I used Wozaik to help me plan my holiday. I love trekking and hiking and I wanted to take the opportunity of these two weeks off to go back to the mountains.
As some of you may have noticed already, a few days ago, we rolled out very cool new features making it easy to share and publish pages of bookmarks. As usual, we have been testing these new features “live” with your help and it is time to officially tell you more about them.
When you have found bookmarks you would like to share with your friends or with the community, you can now do it very easily with the sharing features. Until now, the shared pages where only available 24 hours. There is no life time limit anymore and you can make your page publicly accessible.
We changed our homepage yesterday in order to make simpler the installation of the Wozaik button. We removed the big orange button, to make it possible to directly install the Wozaik bookmarklet. We also provided screenshots on how to install the button with different web browsers. The demo video has also been embeded in the example of bookmarks shown in the page.

Many of you asked us when will Wozaik be available on Opera browser. We are happy to announce that we have just released a new version of Wozaik that works pretty well with Opera. However, you should keep in mind that for the moment Opera is not “officially supported”. Actually we cannot test extensively Wozaik on Opera, so you may run into some minor issues while using the service. Nevertheless the main features should work correctly, and it is now possible to add bookmarks to your account. Opera users, please let us know all the problems you may have. We are here to help you on our new Feedback interface.
Hi, some of you may have already noticed that we have switched our feedback interface to a new one powered by getsatisfaction.com. Thanks the high quality feedbacks you are sending us we are continuously imporving Wozaik and we wanted you to be able to share your ideas, suggestions and bug reports with the whole community. It will now be much simpler for everyone to help each other and to help us improving Wozaik. Don’t worry we are working on the feedbacks you already sent us and we reported the most popular suggestions into the new interface. So don’t forget to register to our support community (you can easily do that with your Facebook or Google account) and feel free to participate and to help the other members of the community.

Last Monday, we participated to the Innovate100 Pitch slam competition in Microsoft headquarter in Paris. Innovate100 is a global competition to identify top technology, media and communications startups from around the world.
22 startups where selected to present their companies at the event. There where two pitch slam sessions and at the end of each, one startup was selected to be part of the Innovate100: the 100 top technology startup from around the world. The winner of the morning session was Smartgrains, which develops a system composed of ground-mounted sensor units and wireless guidance signs that automatically guides drivers to vacant parking spots.

You can now quickly publish for 24 hours a page of bookmarks and share it with your friends, on Facebook, Twitter, Buzz or Email. You just have to gather the bookmarks you want to share in the same page and publish your page.

It has been a long time since we have not posted on our blog. You may be wondering what is going on at Wozaik. Well, things are going great ! Last November, we provided tech blogs with invitations to make their readers test Wozaik. Many users love our service and gave us great quality feedbacks.
